Peter-Blair Accessories officially began in July of 2002 but it got started long before that. Dick Fowlkes, the President and creative power behind the brand, has owned a men's clothing store in Richmond, VA for over 13 years. In a break from the traditional role as retailer, Dick and his sister, Designer, Kate Ackerly expanded the Peter-Blair brand beyond the traditional store-front first with a Neckwear line and then a boxer-short line.
